Amouage Interlude Woman was launched in 2012. The fragrance represents the enlightening moment when someone overcomes trials and can then be satisfied with their own achievements. Karine Vinchon Spehner is the nose behind this seductive women's fragrance. At the top she mixed fresh accords of bergamot and grapefruit with ginger and gold flower. The heart is a complex mix. Floral notes of strawflower, jasmine, orange blossom and rose are combined with honey, kiwi, coffee, incense, sandalwood, gum parsnip and walnut. The base also has a very different composition. Woody notes of oud and sandal come together with the warmth of leather, vanilla, amber and benzoin. Musk and tonka bean provide the finishing touch.
