The Perfume: the fragrance notes conjure olfactively with delicate gold leaf and the play between light and shadow for which the painting became so famous. Perfumer Calice Becker was inspired by the fascinating contrast between the painting's facets, which she describes as "layered and brilliant, rich and voluptuous." The spicy brightness of the perfume is the fragrant expression of the painting's brilliance. The heart full of rose petals represents all facets of the rose. Finally, the soothing vanilla absolute appears in the base, embellished with an exclusive patchouli molecule, Akigalawood.
